I figured I should share what is keeping me going. It's the most simple concoction ever. Honey, Water and Lemon. I like a HUGE serving in my big glass mug so if you are using a normal sized mug, half this recipe.
Honey to taste (I like LOTS at the bottom of my cup before I pour my hot water in.)
1 1/2 cups hot water
Juice of two lemons (Sometimes this is a bit much but it all depends on how much juice is in the lemons.)
Lemon zest if you want a little added zing
Honey is a natural healing property. I am no doctor but I definitely believe it. It is said to have antibacterial and antiseptic properties. It is also supposed to be good for sore throats and coughs, which is why it is my best friend right now.
Lemons are rich in vitamin C and flavonoids that work in conjunction to help fight infection.
There are plenty of health benefits from consuming these two natural foods so this tea just HAS to be good for you! :)
